2014年6月23日，在卡塔尔举行的第38届世界遗产大会上，以贵州施秉云台山等为代表的中国南方喀斯特二期申遗项目获批通过。这是中国第48个世界自然遗产名录项目。
On June 23, 2014, at the 38th World Heritage Conference held in Qatar, the second phase application projects of the South China Karst World Heritage, represented by Shibing Yuntai Mountain in Guizhou Province was approved. This is the 48th World Natural Heritage List project in China.
山之巅 云之海
云台山，位于施秉县的北部，白云岩喀斯特地貌。整个云台山的面积约为210平方公里，主峰团仑岩海拔1066米，因山形“四面削成，独出于云霄之半”，山顶如台，加之云雾缭绕，故名云台山。
Yuntai Mountain, located in the north of Shibing County, is a dolomite karst landform. The entire Yuntai Mountain covers an area of about 210 square kilometers. The main peak, Tuanlunyan, is 1066 meters above sea level. Since the shape of the mountain is "cut out from all sides, it stands alone in the half of the sky", the top of the mountain is like a platform. Besides, it is surrounded by clouds and mist, so it is named Yuntai Mountain.
施秉云台山是世界上保存最完整、发育最好、最为壮观的白云岩喀斯特地貌。还是研究白云岩发育演化的最好试验场，填补了世界自然遗产的水系空白。
Shibing Yuntai Mountain is the most complete, best-developed and most spectacular dolomite karst landform in the world. It is also the best test site for studying the development and evolution of dolomite, filling the gap in the water system of the world natural heritage.
似璞玉 如仙境
云台山的迷人之处，在于“云”上，当你置身山巅眺望远处时，可以看到万山丛中都是云雾缭绕，千山万壑都在脚下，仿佛“云中漫步”，而这云雾飘忽不定，时快时慢、时浓时淡、时聚又时散，此时，各种高峰、怪石穿过云层，让人分不清现实与仙境！
The charm of Yuntai Mountain lies in the "cloud". When you stand on the top of the mountain and look into the distance, you can see that the mountains are surrounded by clouds and mist, and peaks and valleys are all under your feet, just like "walking in the clouds". This cloud and mist float erraticly, sometimes fast and sometimes slow, sometimes thick and sometimes light, sometimes gathering and sometimes dispersing. At this time, various peaks and strange rocks pass through the clouds, making it difficult to distinguish if there is reality or fairyland!
